Gelana is one of the Woredas in the Oromia Region of Ethiopia. It was part of former Gelana Abaya woreda. The Tore Gelana site is located at Tore; the administrative town of the woreda. The altitude is 1700 -1900asl, while the mean annual rainfall ranges between 1400-1800mm. The mean annual temperature is 15-280C, and the soil is deep sandy loam with good fertility. Tore coffee is sourced from 963 small scale farmers. The farmers reside in Jirme, Dango, Chalbesa Kebeles and Tore town.
